Chief Operations Officer

Lead management teams to define the corporate strategy, implement new company wide business practices, negotiate supplier agreements and coordinate market expansion. Other key functions include:

 

·               Manage and direct operations for 52 wireless telecommunications retail stores, in seven states, with inventory, assets, and sales in excess of $65 million

General Dynamic Information Technology – SLC Metro Fiber Deployment         2015

Senior Business Operations Manager

Part of the senior management team in establishing a new GDIT field project office that supports a multi city fiber optic network installation deployment. Other key functions include:

·               Directly oversaw the stand-up process of the 35k sqft material warehouse where all OSP materials are housed and dispensed to subcontractors and employees.

·               Hired and managed the P6 Primavera scheduler which managed the timelines and buildout schedules for the project. Communicated to stake holders on progress.

·               Responsible for project document control. Established a MS SharePoint repository for key documents and communicated when revisions or changes were made.

·               Managed the geographical information systems (GIS) team where ‘as built’ and asset tracking was stored.

·               Procured and managed the vehicle fleet program with 35 fleet vehicles based on GDIT requirements.

·               Performed many other PMO operations as delegated by the Area Market manager.

 

 

 

 

UTOPIA- Utah State Municipal Fiber Optic Network         2011 - 2014

Director of Operations

·               Managed the warehouse team with $2 Million+ in value with inventory at multiple sites.

·               Managed the 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) team.

·               Managed the Field Service Group (FSG) for installations, maintenance of network fiber, routes and 200+ huts and cabinet across Utah.

·               Assisted Outside Plant (OSP) with project builds and network expansion site selection based on quantitative analytics.

·               Developed and maintained UTOPIA’s first Wireless Internet Service Provider program.

·               Project liaison between network service providers and agency.
